A Wake up Call for Answers to Your Prayers!
In order for a “shift” or change to take place in your life, it is important to open your heart to the power of worship. In the Holy Bible, we see many Old Testament and New Testament biblical accounts of many who desperately needed something from God. Worship was an existent part of their lives and its importance is more relevant now, than ever.
We can certainly learn from those biblical characters and imitate that very same worship that answered prayers, ignited breakthrough, and delivered them from every trial and tribulation. The same God that showed up back then, is without a doubt omnipresent today.
How should we worship? Worship is a simple process and it has no form and no specific words that need to be spoken. It is the communication pathway to show adoration to God through both words and actions. You will know when you have been immersed in a true worship experience because you will instantly feel God’s presence through the Holy Ghost!
Let’s take David for example, he worshipped until he danced out of his clothes; and then there was Job, who frantically worshipped his way out of the valley. Then, there’s Joseph who literally fell to his knees and worshipped when he was delivered from the bondage of prison.
How can we communicate with God? There are three important but often neglected acts that you should include in your daily life if you desire God to hear and answer your prayers. You must have: 1) Praise, 2) Prayer and 3) Worship.
Worship moves God! Praise makes God smile! And “serious” prayer is the direct line to God! Unlike the biblical days, we should not wait until a desperate situation arises. Worship is a consistent exercise that we do when life is up and when it’s down. It can be as simple as finding a church service to attend where you commune with other worshipers in an atmosphere that extends itself to worship. Or, it can simply be speaking to God from the heart in your quiet time or sowing financial seeds.
Just know that if you work to make praise, prayer and worship a part of your routine, your prayer petitions will be answered within the parameters of God’s will through your own acts of faith. Additionally, if your worship is pure and real, God’s Word tells us that your prayers MUST be answered. In other words, when you have poured out your soul and made heart filled efforts, you are certainly in line for your needs to be met.
There is one simple catch to this: Your petitioned prayers to God must include something for Him and that is through worship. So ask yourself the next time you pray, what have I given God in exchange for that answered prayer?
Wouldn’t it be nice to be able to go to God and say “I have done everything you asked ME to do, now meet EVERY need?”
